Pipe Dreams

Pipe Dreams

A Poem by Zach Gordano

As I look into your hungry eyes, I see the lies,

Read between the lines, lie and say your fine.

Because I know that you’re not.

Hang on to me and use me, abuse me

Just because you know you’ll never lose me.

And after you f**k around I know that you will choose me,

Because I never fucked you at all.

And remember when I said the art should be

Between two people who love each other,

Not a random brother, or another non-lover, a stupid f*****g tree hugger,

Someone who would do anything to get in.

And I thought I assured you when I gave my whole world to you,

I swore to you, that making love is the most passion I can show towards you,

I warned you, that it was love, sweet love, was all I ever wanted from you,

I’m not like most men.

And the pulsating sensation, much more than masturbation.

I’ll come with illumination, shoot rays of light beams to your receiving station.

Guiding you the right way and showing you that the light of my love is what you want.

But it’s more blatant and latent, when you mean s**t than when you say s**t.

Just because two is better than one, and it’s more than just fun

Doesn’t mean that making love to you was a f*****g hobby.

Because an orgasm is more than just a spasm.

Make it last and um…  let me blast my um…

And the love is not over even when we are done.

I won’t succumb

To sexuality as a means for “mi amor”

As you scream for more, more.

And out of nowhere you close the door.

But you’re not an intimate w***e, you just wanted love.

Love, love, love, love, love.

And you sold your soul and heart to the one who loves you the most.

And my intent was to impregnate you with a forever drug.

An everlasting addiction, with an everlasting hug

And nothing is more addicting than that love,

As pure as two white doves.

I wanted you to conceive no baby yet,

But in your womb, I want you to hold my eternal, internal love.

And it’s a damn shame you were on birth control…
