Win You Back

Win You Back

A Poem by Zach Gordano
"

I will not lose you.

"
I miss the taste of your lips,
The feeling of your hips,
The pain relief of your back rubs,
Those special nights in hot tubs.
The comfort of your hugs,
And the feeling of your love.
I miss those romantic summer nights,
And the meaningless little fights.
I miss watching movies til we fall asleep.
And even the nights that we weep.
I miss being your taxi,
But now my face is all waxy.
I miss just going out to lunch, when we can't decide
I should have said this, but you can let me ride.
I miss the nights when you comfort me when I'd cry,
And the times when we didn't have to try.
I miss knowing that someday we'll thrive
But most of all, I miss our love staying alive.

Because any times with you are better than this heart crushing mess,
And I'm sorry about the days when I would make you chase me.
I just needed your attention, and I still do.
That's all I ever wanted, all I ever needed.
All I want, and all I need.
I won't lose you now,
Not now, not ever.
Whether the weather glooms a storm cloud over my parade,
The clouds will part when you come back to me someday.
