An Atrophy.

An Atrophy.

A Poem by Zach Gordano
"

I'll be by your side.

"
The tragedy never sleeps.
But the tragic hero always weeps.
And yes, there's an atrophy,
But it's that I'm falling for you.
Askew, maybe, but it's never too late.
The fate of our hands grasping,
Forever I wait.
Out in space, our hearts beat forever together.
No matter the weather.
The burdens on your back should always weigh less than a feather.
It can't be a tragedy,
Because I'm not ready to lose.
And I still can never choose,
But it's time for decisions
I'll grace you with my opinions
And stock you up with love and life as provisions.
And i cannot let this be a sob story.
No Romeo, no Juliet.
I love you, baby, I don't want someone else.
Because if I can't have you,
Then I can't have myself.
So take a sip of my potion,
Until there is nothing left.
