That was AWESOME! I really loved it. These are the best lyrics I've read from you so far I think! :D
The breaks in the lines were perfect, and I could definitely imagine these as being lyrics to a song. Ahh, so tempting to even try singing them myself. *stares wistfully at guitar in corner of bedroom*. =P
The emotions were captured really well, and I loved the way the poem ended too.
Such a sad yet relatable piece!
