Flatline

Flatline

A Poem by THESt3V

Doctor Doctor! I think we
need to operate! There's
a flat line and no vital signs
this time. It's not too late!
We can still pray he's okay.
"Clear" rings out through the
room and life returns to soon
to be true.
Oh it can't be true!

He's been gone for too long,
This isn't right!

Somethings wrong, he's too strong,
Kill the lights!

Oh God! I can't believe my eyes!
We've given life to death in a
perfect disguise. The screen
beeps and we see its too late
to compromise. Its true we
should have thought this through
tonight.

Call in the navy, baby
We're going to fight!

This is getting crazy, maybe
Tonights the night!
