Pizza Man's Rant

Pizza Man's Rant

A Poem by T. F. Rice
"

No, I've never been a pizza man.

"

PIZZA MAN'S RANT

Another house

inhabited by the

lobotomized.

Another home,

another door

bearing idiotic grin.

That wash of air

and rays of light,

as serrated

door edges scrape,

are all quite different,

somehow the same.

Each face affords

its unique sigh,

the eyes blank,

for none of them

ever look their

pizza man

                       in the eye.

Ja
They don't look you in the eye.
Because they're hungry guy.
They don't want to ignore you.
They just assumed you knew.
Humorous piece, thank you
