Infidelity

Between the thousand days

And one bright moon

There was a blunder

That kept my relationship on the line

Dull of me to put you in jeopardy

As dim lights were lit

A stupid mistake that I commit

To which I cannot erase

You have the authority

To punish me however you like

But just one thing

Don't leave me as a punishment

Your tears are precious

I don't know how to atone

But let me start by saying

"I am truly sorry" 

My vocabulary cannot express

The guilt that I am facing

But my convictions to make up

Is far greater than any mission so far

I know that you are hurted

But please let me make it up for you

I am willing to crawl everyday

Slowly making each steps count

Give me a chance to come back

I know that our relationship is crumbled

And I am not asking for a complete new page

But let me start by writing

"I Love You !"

Although I have never been in an relationship. I always wondered, about what would I do if I confess or get caught in action. Would you forgive my mistake

You ask the question, "Would you forgive me?"
I think that would depend on how well I knew your character. I agree with Anti in-as-much as you aren't meant to be in the relationship to begin with, but, if you were basically an honest, loving man, then yes, I would forgive you. Hopefully, I would look at my own downfalls too.

Wow...nice poem. Liked the structure which was written a bit like a letter. You can truly tell that the person is sorry for the mistake he committed. But should the betrayed one forgive him? I'm not sure about that... hope U thought about the ending in your head :)
