March And MarchA Poem by Terrence ChangThe soldiers of war that glorified our land
March and March
To the land of liquidation Joining arms with each other As we glorify our land All the rounds of bullets The boons to cause destruction The dancing dagger in the edge Ready to slash the weak flesh Warriors leaves their dwelling Remembering them all in snivel Shadows and kins all in tears As they embrace the cist And wearing it like a necklace Casting them into the fray Scrimmage of the flying bullets Raring the muscles to slicing life Tussling for a triumph beyond victory Quarrelling over time after time Only blood cries as bodies detach All in the name of our land They will all hurt them with their lives Scrambled flesh and tossed bones Written down in piece of paper To reflect ourselves in history A paradox in your vivid imagination Situating in the sulking breeze Hope not that the regret will linger The remaining few comes back Either a flag over casket Or the disrupted minds in war A promise that never kept for some A bitter taste in their curriculum Remind them not of what they have done They once had a heart that faded to black Running helter-skelter with memories Comrades became a shadow No longer he can call the lost souls Antagonism never ever ends As warriors will be called again © 2015 Terrence ChangAuthor's Note
