DespairA Poem by Terrence Chang
If a man doesn't act like a man
And the woman doesn't be a woman Then what are we as human We all want to laugh heartily As despair collide with humour But are we laughing happily We all want to taste The winds of the white sky But we endure the black haze We all want our luscious meal To eat and live in satisfaction But we all get down to gluttony We all are evolving To push the human race But still get stuck in the maze The drugs was ment to heal To feel relief from the sickness But the addiction gets the steal Consuming water is ment to be free To drink our way towards salvation But still we pay a fee in depression The states must never be in alarmed To never experiment our innocent heart But innocence becomes a fool with experience Everybody enjoys the technology given by men Connecting our way through a medium But we all become a slave against the electronic heart You all think that humans are opportunist But we become pessimistic with one blow Only experience is giving us the final verdict Wishful thinking is nothing but a catastrophic emissions That strikes at nothing towards hope when produced It is just another day of surviving in misery As we still call hope © 2015 Terrence ChangAuthor's Note
