When someone leaves you

I try to smile but the sorrow drags my lips
The locked tears slip off my eyes and fall on my cheeks

I try to forget but remember the screams
That follows with the scary dreams ...

it's always seemed more like a complete port of misery that we all come to pass through in the name of... abundance. kinda very deep and intellectual poetry you come to bleed in. interesting thoughts, perhaps, very heartfelt, though.. as well. nicely penned.
