When Beauty sees Beast

A short poem based on Beauty and the Beast with a twist.

                                                                                     

 

You saw me

In my all shame

When I didn’t know your name

Yet, you said I’m the apple of your eye

And the reason why you gave your life

I am truly glad you caught me

Because, I was really running from you

I was lost in my pride 

Yet, you wanted my body to be a home for two

When the Beauty saw the Beast

Everything that was shattered in my life morphed into one piece.
