Warning*** This is Christian Poetry. If you are offended, please stop here and read no further. I am not the sort to force my religious views on others. What words can describe Heaven?

"

I’ll tell the Saints of dreams untold,

with words that fill a soul with hope!

Of how the Lord redeems his fold

and gathers those with faith as Job.

Recline the head and close the eyes,

and speak of Heaven’s fair respite:

where sickness, strife, nor sin arise;

the darkness never quenches light!

I’ll talk of Holy cherub song,

a praise of glory to His throne,

and then we’ll sing with angel throng

a hymn - Salvation’s Blood Atone!

But ‘lo we’ll never view Hev’s gate

from old earth’s highest mountain peak.

Forbid you not this visage great!

What is the word of truth I speak?

Describe our Heaven not with gold,

and not with precious gem or stone.

Perhaps it is as Paul foretold:

Of Faith and Hope and Love that’s shown.

WOW. Such a beautiful poem!! Very good imagery of an unimaginable place where we will see the face of our Father. Just WOW.
