Welcome to Reality...

I poem I wrote about our children and their destinies we leave them.

             Welcome To Reality!

        (So sorry we'll be leaving now.) 

Tell me, What will we leave behind,

When it becomes our children's time.

To inherit the Earth when we leave,  

Tell me, who do you truly Deceive?

For you know as well as I do,

The Sky will no longer be Blue.

And the Rivers and Oceans will be Polluted,

and the very Soil will be Diluted,

With a Sickness that will never go away,

So what shall we tell them on that Day??

"Hello my Little Baby, Welcome to this Earth"

"Sorry we Raped it of it's resources way before your birth!"

"Hope you can Fix the Damage We've Done"

"Before you Present it to your Newborn One"

"Because our time is over and we will soon be Dead"

"Guess we Should have listened to OUR father and what HE said"

"But we were busy playing war-games and having way to much Fun"

"So we just decided to put it off on you and your little ones!"

"but don't worry because we left lots of toys"

"so maybe you can give that to your little girls and boys!"

"but tell'em not to touch the one's we buried in the ground"

"Because it is gonna take them a long time to even go around"

"Because the radiation is so strong it will probably kill ya!"

"ok I'm going, now be a good child and say a prayer for me will ya!

"For God knows I'm gonna need it to get into heaven somehow"

"Because I never needed GOD but I sure NEED him NOW!"
