A Poem by T.A.G.

Have you ever met a man who lived to die

Lived not to see the morning sky

Lived unto us not to share

The life he was born to bare

And in this man a hate did grow

But through his skin it did not show

And though his friends all thought him sain

They could not see his hearts true pain

In the shadow of life he waits for death

Longing to breathe his final breath

To release him from his mortal ties

No longer shall they deny my cries.

Yes actually, I've known several... quite for real. Some are named on different monuments - the Wall in DC, the Mini-Wall outside of Camp Geiger at Jacksonville NC. A couple on some bar walls in Littlecreek Va - seals. and other places as well.

It isn't hard getting that way... its hard coming BACK from it. Many don't quite make it back.

Take care,
Chris
