Some Say Elusive, I Say Non-Existent

Some Say Elusive, I Say Non-Existent

A Poem by T. Alexandra

Happiness is a pretty illusion.
For which one spends a lifetime trying to obtain.
A trick of the eye.
You think you see it.
And you want it.
Sometimes you think you have it.
Sometimes you think you have lost it.
And then other times you feel some absurd complete lacking of it.
And there is always one person who seems to have all the happiness in the world.
An illusion.
A trick of the eye.
And a magician never reveals the secret to his tricks.

I would assume so. We only believe it is natural to feel a certain way about certain situations.

True. Completely and utterley. I congratulate you on this-being able to completely say your mind. Happiness is an illusion, but we do feel good for it. But aren't all feelings illusions too?
