Dawn has Fallen

Dawn has Fallen

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

You severed my path and shed the skin away from my bone
a scant lip of blood and tooth perishing between your legs,
wandering snake tongue, just for a little while.
We tortured one another's light
playing nightful, at nightfall.
Sweetning the pillows upon which our heads fall;
pull me up and let me spin
in a heavenly wander of this medicine.
