Woolf

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

stepping through an arch, my distinguishing arrival awaits
pleasantly amusing, and stifling at the uptake arising
she beckons her rival
greeting so simply her accomplices through sweet dropping envy-sap
a mountainous devil's eye walks pathly toward, scared and scarcely brave.
An ungentle sarcastic rebuke to their plenty and pitiful, taken with touch, delightfully to their glasses.
Chiming together, they exchanging faltering smiles; a not too quick escape and escapade erupts my middle thought and right minded, justly, one excuses herself.
