A Fine Frenzy

A Fine Frenzy

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

A diamond hidden from sight

we found those times rarely, excitement

and extinction. But too often we laughed,

and wavered slowly when the pace needed

to quicken. We had an easy and open door,

a hinge that caused a close, a gentle push

at that would alter our stride.

Should I refresh our walkway, and make you fall in love,

as I pretend to be a friend. The hate I feel as I know

you voluntarily pull me along as you lovingly rest your arms around me.

Held high above, I wonder how many have asked your worried query

and caused you to think it true. It was not only my doing but yours.

Where did we both draw the line, because we did. Though I am

not there to be questioned, and I pray you'll not lay a blame on me,

over what we both caused.

I wait for another year; will it tell what may be true, only in falsehood memories.

I can feel this write tug and pull
sadness in this, but yet so well written and expressed.

'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
