Lectured

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

There's a reason they placed a pun on this very syllable, rocking us back and forth

and grating our skin, now shaven upon the sands. Ever-lifting your frame, sensational

and firm, as she resists, and as he recalls. We're pythons in sifting moonlight, visibly shouting one another's remorse to please our souls forever; our axons taking note. Further we travel. Cell to cell we dwindle our thumbs and synchronise feelings and thoughts. You will be taken, and fall purposefully down a grained path.

Natural and sordid.
