Axon

Axon

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

why are nerves creeping in? After a painful night without you; yelling words I used to love and still love, in silence. I said that I was a rock, though far from it we know. The cold encasing holds true, but like all put through ice cold weather, I wilter and crack to jagged pieces. A scarce memory of that feeling, crawling. Nearer and faster, members surrounding come. I'm haunted by my escape, a simple destiny encapsulated by a caller of an inexorable fate.
