A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

you put it on me, enchanting my mood. An arrogance so swell and familiar

brisking past as past memories now do. Interest took from advancement, and advancement from a gentle push in your direction. Intent never fails, recently. I'd say luck was with me that night - I'd say I wish to be there again.

And as you lifted me, a crowd surrounding, you took away all of my remorse - Though, surely it will come back. Gladly, simply; I easily met your eyes with mine, your body untaken by the weight. And held me as we came together for moments lasting.

Taken aback by the bite, of an eight years previous way. When I thrust you back with a playful force, back to me you came. The return only pleased me more; my match. Attack me as I do you. Your forceful ways a product of mine, and a rough reminiscing that you may soon understand, on telling.

Jealousy should call out in all honesty. Though I have been through much more than that, to dwell. And on my leave you came forward in embrace, whereby I left a wonder in your eyes, and you a kiss upon my forehead.

About
'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
