Falter

Falter

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?
"

I don't even remember writing them when I feel like this //

"

You get more than I want, erasing my mind and filling sockets

to drown, and frown in despise

when I two-step off another edge

and tilt my head back to feel the air of another cool day down my neck,

cold embracing my throat.

It somewhat amuses me that love, romance, relationships are the only aspects related to poetry at some times. Remove all love and jealousy from this poem. Instead concentrate on something that liberates you, abstract concepts taking from one another.
