Forgotten in role

Forgotten in role

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

Touch upon a thought, yours

and mine, together

Combined we face a different direction. I know

I have been for so long, only to turn

and face an uncomfortable realisation.

Only if I could apologise; though can you

do so for attraction. Somewhere along a stream

of conscious thought, you became my addiction.

A browned glance that used to fall constant upon me.

A gaze faced one way only. We never stopped wondering,

first yours, and now mine. Where there lay obsticles, did

you pray for ridance? And am I allowed having discarded my own;

faith lies rigid to my mind. What you felt, you should have said.

I tell myself this daily, now.

About
'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
