Heart Jarred

Heart Jarred

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

There was a yesterday that in time never became a truth which was favoured only a day ago.
Where the path of a ghost dwelled in memory so vague, that it burnt white into my flesh so that all could see.
Takers walking past dragged on my tail; little ambiguity causing failure.
I would say I'd cause a chase, that's what they normally go for.

Not this one, a sudden dip in my heart and his disinterest with such, match one another
so greatly.
