Sunrise

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

What if dreaming took over living, only because it has been so long. You're
taken aback by the rarity, and so, holding on is the only hope that you have left. It's like loosing a child at this time in your life, give or take the seriousness. Like, forgetting all that was cramming up your mind, bursting through, wrenching your very thoughts and ramming them into your skull. Until, you find a sweet silence. An epiphany on a pilgrimage.

To be enlightened for just those few moments you wake, with such a magnificent, vivid -
memory.

'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
