A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

If I were to recall everything again, each word
and sound, phrase. I'd have the moment in which I would
wish for my life to end. Any place by your side - it, seems to
take my denial for a short while. It seems to remove everything
that was previously getting inside my head.

And, even when we were sat there, so much to talk about if we wanted,
but silent, everything from before stopped. That moment of pure happiness almost,
as my mind left control.

'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
