Raindrops in May

Raindrops in May

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

I have a window to the deep blue skies, where at night they send a calling that entails ten-thousand lies. Those that have been told for many a year, but are now enlightened as I stare out at magnesium rain drops. They sprint vertical-down from what can only be the roof, to a settling harmonic seating, past my very eyes. Each second they carry on, as if in unison with my thought. Reflecting on the beauty, complementing, as another one falls.
