![]() blade on a bibleA Poem by What happened to simple old me?
Today I saw an image of conflict, maybe only in my eyes: a blade on a bible, though I couldn't help but laugh a little, after moments of consolidating my thoughts - more serious than the remark that came after. What would it mean to deny that which you live for? Or you could ask which one you are living for, both? While trying to live for the latter, you end up living for the first, and foremost, denying to all around, not that they would know in the first place, that you are. Is it so that the former helps the latter, though hindering it blatantly. Only in the owner's eyes is it truly understood, or is that an understatement in itself. They'll carry on together as long as she 'walks' with God, an untrusting fool she is.
