Tame

Tame

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

lines increase that shouldn't be there; a confusion so clear that you could've had me thrown, though I had it ran over, one more time than the many needed, just like last time. I'll sit there, my hand timidly shaking - I can't see if you notice, I put it down before long. Drinking cold tea before long. To hide yet another insecurity from you - the one I try to please, yes, I put up a good front? I thought so, didn't you. I swear you think I'm lying - I don't f*****g know what I do any more, try to please while easing the pain. I know I'm not around too long; months it's been since I last saw my saving grace, weeks since pain subsided, short splits, and my own kind of grace, displayed its name.

About
'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
