A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

and I think I fell out of love with you,
the strangest. That kind of confusion where,
imaginations remain but lustful hoping ceases
and no longer do you remain. no I'm not saying
I don't love the way you make me feel, but I see
too far past it all - where needing is no more.
Find liberation in dance, a release running rife,
a flaming dragon, controls, within my body,
heated skin trembles, where
chills shiver down their spines.
there's that look on her face, over there,
she won't come easily, a mystery captivating only
too often, each moment,
freedom found in unravelled confusion.

this was a nicely done piece. The imagery and the words flowed well. It is hard sometimes to realize that you are no longer "in love" with a person. Although you may love them it is still never quite the same.
