yesterday last spring.

yesterday last spring.

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

still sitting, sometimes threads of blossom trees
trail lanes of pale petals; they float modestly,
beautifully to the floor, picked up
by hooves gone by. They float as if memories
taken hostage by the wind, so far, so long.
we might find them again one day.
