A Poem by What happened to simple old me?
"

...

"
and as divine amber-shine clouds ceased to show,
beckoning stars did take their place -
he felt her pain as he kissed her lips,
returned twenty days before.
and while frozen nightly breezes swayed, the air
walking past; they took refuge, in slight less warmth
than others had, together, their two bodies.
leant in such combined ways, chin warmth upon her hair
burying repression to his chest
till flesh revealed, her now
second love.

A wonderfully written piece. To me this doesn't make a statement so much as it expresses a moment in time, which is a good thing. THis made me feel rather than think which can be refreshing. And the opening line was amazing.

and as divine amber-shine clouds ceased to show,
beckoning stars did take their place -

If you decide to change anything about this poem then please do not change that. Well done.

ok...sunset..night time..connection...winter....two wounded people share themselves...good but not great....just a caress to tide her over until someone else arrives.

sad. again. beautiful and sad.

18 weeks later?
Without pretending that I understood this backyard love... I enjoyed the words much.
