Two ships

Two ships

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

could you tell me why I'm sitting here
steaming liquids stirring round, captivated
by nothing more than a coloured, clay, surround.
Picking up pieces, of paper shaded grey, near torn spaces
finished only late, yesterday, today. I'm loosing track of time,
I'm waiting only again, and while I told them I wouldn't, who's going to
blame.

Some excellent describtions and wordplay with a subtle sense of lostness and lonlieness.

Even if they do blame, it's the self that matters most.
(I would've left out "the" for flow and abstract(ness), but that's just my simple mind speaking out loud)

that passed in the night...sometimes we just need to be grateful for what came...everything isn't ours to keep

'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
