The Knowing

The Knowing

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

she trick-some teases toiling hair
playing knowing movements, touches
takes the times to settle, figures out
what does besot one over and time
each again, while he's sitting, ignoring,
aware of her hand, subtle skin seducing the idea
a further time, while doth resist, and whimpering
imperious thoughts as pride takes over,
but she knows what he wants. So carry on
and make him yearn for what you're passing on
giving to, away others can receive
in moments portrayed long now gone
of dreamer's stark-eye ways
and delirious delightful
gypsy dances
foiling ghastly now
you mind praying of prances
that don't want rid
but need to in this hour
that made you move as he and I
caught corners of your eyes
green flickers sympathetic to what
last months recalled you did.

About
'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
