Away

Away

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

Tilt your head back, until it's stretched - not only do you feel the strain, you love it, abnormality, just to stop the tears from falling, welling, over near closed lids. No longer can you bear to look out into what's in front of you, ahead of you, every step you'll soon make. Just take her back to that place, his touch, that kiss, each evening spent looking into one another's eyes, and barely able to breathe. Grasp tight, that under your left hand, take pain out on it inevitably, for it is all you'll feel right now. Walk from the point; stand still scenario, where nothing you've felt for these past five months will mean anything to anyone, any more, not yourself. The one who saved you when you fell deep down through, and tore you, left you pieces of your mind staring back at you. Where further than imaginable, there is something new. Refreshed is the time when you can recall something as this feels, it is. Never has pain been so numb, not even the time before. It only ever seems to become worse, drowning, anchors clawing you down, don't bother with breath this time, each time each one, they will fail you, everything, though you've known them all your life.
Don't try to pick up the shards, glass points from the bitter sweet drop. left indents, gashed out the marble floor, Silence is all you can hear as you notice the salty tears, slow motion takes on its role. Will you ever reverse them back to the time when no substance of them inside was visible. By my wishes, why not visit that place where fresh daisies grew, and I sat among them. Knowing nothing of what would be; take me back, to what I thought was the sweetest childhood.

'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
