You

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?
"

The title holds significance... He comes before every line.

"
make the sides of my mouth rise, to form cheeks so that it looks like I'm smiling.
tell me to trust you, so that I have no worries left at all.
ask me not to do anything stupid, because you'd miss me too much.
hold me like you know what it is I'm feeling, you do - because I trust you.
tease me, as I do you.
cause my laugh to show it's true colours.
talk to me when you notice a frown.
call me names that I learnt to return.
look at me, and I can't resist.
make me cry, because I cannot hide anything from you.
tell me what I shouldn't do, even though I do.
know that I'll listen to you, because I always do.
make me feel like I'm more special to you than the others.
& me can't ever, be together.

About
'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
