You bring me

You bring me

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

This feeling of joy, summer shine
and that fresh, warm lifting feel taking my feet slowly off the ground.
My head leant back, hair tingling down my back as I take a breath of air through my nose.
Mouth turning up, as I rest my head on my neck.
A smile found it's way to my face.
This body, arms stretched effortlessly behind my back, towards the floor has
gravity temping it, but you keep me there.

And for a moment I feel nothing, but the warm, still air rushing in my head.

'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
