Candy

Candy

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

We spend most of our money on graves.
She walked gently, yet dominantly all over me. And it took me seconds, only seconds, to realise the suggestions she was making. She shaped herself with memories, and devoured my mind in one leap of my heartache. The longing we showed to each-other in eyes, a glance capturing the flecks.
I laughed with amplitude at the ease; and all I stole, a kiss. A showdown with the shrew and a playful tablature of emotion with a young soul.

About
'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
