Sucked Me Dry.A Poem by Emily Irene.A little something I wrote about my dad and our final farewell.
You sucked me dry of blood and trust.
You've got me down on my knees begging, "Please don't go." So I make you a collage of everything that reminds me of you as I snort some pills, the last of the batch, to try to keep my alive. Then I go to your home and I leave the collage between the front doors. I go home and smoke some mary jane to try to keep me just quite sane but as it just makes me stare into space I take some more pills to go to sleep so I can finally see you, even if its just in my dreams. © 2010 Emily Irene.Author's Note
