Sucked Me Dry.

Sucked Me Dry.

A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

A little something I wrote about my dad and our final farewell.

"
You sucked me dry of blood and trust.
You've got me down on my knees
begging, "Please don't go."

So I make you a collage of everything that reminds me of you
as I snort some pills, the last of the batch, to try to keep my alive.
Then I go to your home and I leave the collage between the front doors.

I go home and smoke some mary jane
to try to keep me just quite sane
but as it just makes me stare into space
I take some more pills to go to sleep
so I can finally see you,
even if its just in my dreams.

Author's Note

Emily Irene.
This is all real and it was jotted down in less than ten minutes, so take that into consideration.
