WarA Poem by Emily Irene. This poem is about me, from an outsider's perspective. I'm told I moan and whine in my sleep and make hand movements because of nightmares.
She's that type of girl.
She whimpers in her sleep, and sometimes I wonder, God, almighty, what is she dreaming of? Is she fighting off the pain in her nightmares? She moans gasps of pain and I want to enter her brain and help her set up the cavalry. But I am just a friend, and this is not my war to fight. © 2010 Emily Irene.Reviews
