Wonderland.

Wonderland.

A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

December 2008; inspired by Alice In Wonderland/Lewis Caroll.

"

You grinned like the cheshire cat,
because you had no idea at all.
I felt like dying inside,
because I wasn't ready for another fall.

You were the mad hatter the entire time,
inviting me over for tea,
when in reality,
you couldn't stand to see me.

You portray yourself as the innocent Alice,
but I have something to tell you:
this is hell for me,
and I hope it's hell for you, too.
