A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

November 2008.

"

Oh my, how the time has flown.
Two weeks have passed
since you said goodbye,
a stereotypical farewell
to the least stereotypical love
I think I may ever have.
Don't forget this,
don't forget me,
promise me,
don't let yourself forget the love
we carried like firearms
through our difficulties,
our struggles,
and our lives.
Don't forget:
you promised to be there forever.
