Shotgun.

Shotgun.

A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

older.

"

And the girl said,

"Give me a reason.

One reason to wake up and face you.

One reason I shouldn't take this gun

and shoot myself this very second."

And the man said,

with a cold glare,

"I never said I had one."

Haha, I love this poem. Once again I like its brevity and I think the word choice is very good. In a short amount of time you see the relationship between the two characters--the despair of one and the coldness of another. And it is a very good mix. It also starts in the middle of something which gives energy and excitement to the poem. If I had a suggestion, because I always have to, it would be to maybe omit the second to last line or change glare to stare for the alliteration. But basically, just a nit picky thing. Good work.
