What Am I?

What Am I?

A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

October 2006.

"

Break into my heart

with all you've learned

from these late-night calls.

Your number is still racing through my mind

and I feel you've said one too many

of your perfectly-crafted lines.

You are the epitome of everything I've ever wanted,

but baby,

what am I to you?
