Quarter To Nine

Quarter To Nine

A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

Long, kind of not my thing, rambles on, but here you go.

"

Hello, yes, I'm doing just fine,

I've been up since a quarter to nine.

I want to tell you something now

so please listen closely, I will not repeat myself but once.

You would never know how it feels

to have a monster inside your body,

a monster you barely know,

a monster you cannot comprehend.

So please don't try to understand,

don't try to feel my pain.

Just go away

and leave me be

to eternally suffer in melancholy.
