Heaven/Home

Heaven/Home

A Poem by Emily Irene.

It's been 365 days and counting, old soul,

and I'm afraid this life is not getting any easier.

They lied, they lied;

they said it would fade,

they said it would fade.

But you're still the only thing that feels like heaven,

still the only thing that feels like

home.
