The Hermit

The Hermit

A Poem by Schyala
"

My second poem about the hermit, a tarot card representing regrets. Hope you enjoy!

"
Regrets.
Piled up in a hoarder's house.
Like heirlooms, passed down from our thoughts.
What we might of thought as intelligent
to leave our harlot mouths
turns into fears of the past

We can remember all do,
and wonder what we could have done
As our eyes look down upon us
And although light sets ahead
Happiness is in the quest
Our regrets will always follow us
And always remain our pest.

Very insightful. I enjoy how you worded this so that it's easy to comprehend.
And don't we all have regrets that haunt us; some for an eternity?
Wonderful write, and yes, do keep writing.
