Hush my darling

This poem is about the person who puts aside their selfish ways and does what is best for their said person of interest

Hush my darling, purse your lips.

There is something I have to say.

The pain of knowing you is why I cannot let you stay.

The world needs to see your glory.

The world needs to see your flair.

I cannot be selfish and hold you.

No that I couldn't bare.

So I fight through these tears.

Just to see you soar.

You will always be my love.

But this world needs you more.

And if its meant to be, than so it shall be.

Up until then, you'll have to go higher without me.

So have no fear and  just continue to be you.

In this world I have faith.

Just stay strong, stay true.
