Ecstasy's End

Ecstasy's End

A Poem by SypherDostravius

Making love

As buildings crumble

We rise up

Through the ashes

Burning candles

At both ends

Filling up

Your emptiness

I hold you close

You cannot quit

Me so quickly

I want to go

I want to come

Take it easy

Must relax

I want this

To last forever

Sun rises

Moon falls

Glinting sweat

Upon our bodies

Our eyes lock

In that final moment

Our bodies tense

In ecstasy

Then we fade

Forever in a dream…
