Drowning Lament

Drowning Lament

A Poem by Mike L. Smyth

Rage surging in my veins

Greif inside of hate

You tear me down again

Emotions run wild

Taking over my mind

Controlling my being

Blinding horror engulfs me

Realizing decrepit intentions

I lash out in soring disgust

Praying for the faintest chance

Pleading for things to change

Resolution or none

It has already been done

Tranquility takes over

Let me be me

hmm..i don't know what to make out of this.
is this about someone in particular?
or just a writting for the sake of writting type of thing?
its good, but it mirrors yourself and seems like there are
things wrong with you that you keep shunned away from everyone else.
a hidden hurt of sorts.

the last line is nice, let me be me.

hmmm, a mystery to remian in silence.
